HELP! 89 P/U drive train noise (I think)

I have a noise in my drive train? somewhere, that sounds like chirping/squealing/twanging. It only happens while under load, more often then not in first and second gears. It's not a constant noise, and doesn't happen all the time but is becoming more frequent. Mostly while taking off, but occasionally in a higher gear while cruising. It doesn't make a difference if I'm light on the gas pedal or if I floor it.

I've checked my U-joints and so forth to no avail, I greased every grease point thoroughly, and I don't have any serious leaks on any of my gear boxes. Not to say they don't seep, but they don't leak bad enough to have poured all the oil out without me seeing it. Any clues as to what it might be would be greatly appreciated. I've racked my brain, and would prefer not to take it to a shop....though that seems to be what might end up happening.
