Help! 3 out of 6 spark splugs have been hela coiled.

Okay so I am chainging the spark plugs on my 3.0 in my 1990 4runner, and 3 of the 6 plugs have been hela coiled, and were covered in oil. The motor was not leaking or anything and it was just missing pretty bad. Anybody have any insight on what might be wrong or what I should do?

OUCH! Biggest reason I hate alum heads, right there...

Steel threaded into aluminum? Great idea!

If they're not leaking run with it. If they were and I knew how to turn a wrench I'd get some new heads and get ready to put them on.

There is also a bigger spark plug you can buy, made especially for this type of situation but I have no experience with them...

Always lube yer plugs for yew putt'em in

That sounds hela bad.

And for reference, it's Heli-coil.

You might want to consider something like this in the very near future:

Well thats the problem, the plugs don't leak because of the heli coils, but it seems like the piston rings are letting a huge amount of blow by through, 2 of the plugs were just drenched in oil, the rest were dry and in decent shape. Im guessing the rings in those cylinders are trashed. I am thinking im gonna have to either have a head job done soon, or the motor just straight rebuilt or replaced. But does anyone know if there are more oil resistant spark plug that would not get fouled as quickly?
