hella 1900s?
so went to order another set of hella 500s and some 100w bulbs then i saw the hella 1900s for like $20 a peice,so i decided to be impulsive and got them along with my 500s so i want to know does anybody run them? and what do you think of them?
heres a pic of where they will be going
i was thinking of putting the 1900s on the outside, replacing the square ones and putting my new set of 500s in the center. then fixing my hackjob of wiring lol. but do you guys think they will look better in the middle or on the edge?
for those of you who dont know what they look like here is a picture of them

well im finally home from college and was thinking that maby i should mount my extra set of 500s on my bumper instead of putting them up top, to make them street legal. my question is how many of you guys that have lights on your bumper, how often do you really use them while driving? i should be installing them tomorrow and ill share what i think of the 1900s

I have always had some lights on my truck in one form or another. The lights I have got on my '05 are dual filament and are in no way street legal so I am pretty careful about when I used them. Out on the backroads late at night they certainly help to spot deer etc a ways down the road...
I have had lights on the roof before but have hated the amount of light that reflects back in to the cab, almost blinds me. Only thing I have been able to do to prevent it was to have a flat black hood..I would probably never have a light permenently mounted on the roof again, but I do like my Go Light remote spot light (mounts with a suction system) that has been around for 12-15 years:

I only use my fog lights on back roads, I use my driving lights (roll bar) on dead roads. I.E no lights, no cars. Sure lights EVERYTHING up But the roll bar lights do send light into my cab, lights up the extended part

OO and btw i run Hella500s on my bumper nonstop. Ive even been across from a cop at a redlight and he hasnt bothered me. They are aimed roperly so nobody has ever flashed me either.

I live in PA but when I venture into New Jersey I make sure my covers are on, its law there that your off-road lights have to be covered while on-road.

well after spending entirely way to much time installing them they are all on and ready to go. I put 100w bulbs in my hellas up on the bar but thanks to porcs gg shipping i only got 2 100w bulbs instead of the 4 that i ordered so i decided to put my other set of 500s on the bumper. pics should come tomorrow. the 1900s vs the 500s w/100w bulbs i would say the 500s are better lights. i wish i had waited to install the 100w bulbs in the 500s so i could compare them a little better but o well. for the $44 i spent on the 1900s i would say they are worth it and now when i turn all my lights on at night it really lights up everything in front of me. its amasing.

well here they are. the pictures of the final install of my lights
this is how big the 1900s are compared to the 500s
my switch pannel isnt quite finished because i left the back ring for one of the switches back in brewster so i have to wait till i get that back before i can screw it down
the 500s on my bumper are the 55w bulbs but the lights up top are 100w and its amasing the difference all the extra light makes at night
