Heater pipe stuck on bottom of intake

I ordered a full set of stainless coolant pipes from 22re performance to replace my old rusty lines. I got all of them out with the exception of the one that starts on the passenger side under the intake.

I've removed all of the bolts and it won't budge (intake is still on the vehicle and I really don't want to remove it). Space is tight but I've tried my best to tug on it, even put a chain on it and tried to pull down on it with my body weight, still no luck.

This is the only thing standing in the way of my completing this project. Open to any suggestions. If there is anyone in the Portland area willing to lend a hand, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I had trouble removing that as well.unfortunately I out put my old nasty one back on before I found those nice stainless ones. Anyway what I recall is that you have to pull out away from the head. Remove the intake, your life will be much easier..

Thanks! I'm going to try to get away with removing just the upper intake plenum. Hoping that gives me a little access from above.

Lesson learned... the fuel filter bracket on the block obstructs removal of the pipe. Once I removed the bracket I was able to get the pipe moving enough to get it out.

It's not necessary, but I ended up removing the intake plenum. That made it a lot easier to seat the new pipe and get access to the bolts from the top.b

Those stainless water pipes are available from Toyota for a lot less than 22RE Performance sells them for... They are from later model 22REs (93-95 maybe?), but the old steel pipe part number has been superseded by the stainless ones, so if you order new pipes from Toyota, they will be stainless. I just replaced all mine, as well.
