Location: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.

How did you get to the actual core, I have all of my dash out to try and get the box out behind the radio and I can figure out how to get to the core.

One of the pipes goes to the oulet pipe going around the back of the motor that starts under the lower intake manifold and the other is the water pipe going underneath the exhaust manifold

On the drivers side of the motor, looking at it from the front of the truck, there is a small pipe bolted to the block that runs from the timing chain cover.

The other is a pipe that bolts to the underside of the intake, if you look between the intake rails you can see where it bolts then goes bck behind the motor around the fuel filter.

Hope that helps.

thanks guys. the motor was out and semi disassembeled when i got the truck. i can figure out the one on the driver side. but under the lower intake on passenger side the hose comes out of timing cover and loops back in under the thermostat. is that correct or is that where they by passed the heater core?
