Headgasket job coming up...

Well I have coolant leaking out between the block and the head above the drain plug on the drivers side. Truck runs like a top, oil is completely clean. So, besides new gaskets and surfacing the head, what else should I do? Should I do an RV cam at the same time? Should I just get a new complete head? I did the timing chain, but should I do it again? I'm going to get some dye to confirm the leak first. It couldn't be as easy as retorquing the head bolts could it?

Are you sure one of the frost plugs hasn't rusted through? I've seen it happen.

If you're going to be doing the head gasket, might as well do a cam at the same time. (that's what I did ). New timing chain and guides is a good idea too.
