The one without the cauldron full of boiling body parts

I think I would go with the Thorleys, but I havent tried any of them. I guess I just trust the name.

Someone, somewhere, said that Downey & Thorley headers look EXACTLY the same and were probably made by the same manufacturer. I compared the pics and tend to agree. So since the Thorley ceramic kit from Summit is cheaper than Downey, that's the way I'd go if money was an issue.

If you can afford the LCEs though, go for those.

I'll spare you a "witch" joke and vote for Thorley.

why ask dumb simple questions?

i read all the posts and it is implied that thorley and downey are the same but thorleys are cheaper.

lc's are the best out of your choices but more expensive. i agree with those opinions.

if you don't like these opinions, go search or study metallurgy.

apologies to the rest, i get really annoyed at times like these.

I had an LC header on my old 22R and the damn thing still looked brand new after thousands of hard miles of abuse. That ceramic coating they use is awesome and if you don't mind spending the extra money, it can't be beat.

That's why I've liked my Downey, the ceramic has held up great after thousands of miles and Downey has ALWAYS(per my experiences) come thru with great costumer service!

Forget witch headers, not nearly that great of a performance increase compared to the flying monkeys option, and they really show gas mileage boosts. hook up four of those and watch that baby fly. sorry, can't really help with the headers info and just couldn't resist the witch advice seeing how iv'e dated more than my share. lol or w&w [stands for weep and wail ] I love making up my own computor language. OK...I vote LC Eng.

Well, I think it sounds great!!! lol! It has a good tone and sounds so so sweet in 4lo down a steep hill!! I'm using Downey's cat back kit which utilizes a Magnaflow hiflow cat and flow thru muffler plus thier header. It is 2.5" diameter stainless exhaust tubing thru out.
