head bolt torque spec

I'm putting the head back on my '86 22r and I need to know what the pattern for torquing down the mounting bolts are.

The final spec is 58ft/lbs, right?

This is for a 93 22re. It says 58ft/lbs. Could it be different?

Here is a link for the 86 manual. You can double check there if you want.

Sorry, could not find the pattern.

Good luck.

Thanks

I got the head on. I think I may have put a bit more than the 58ft/lbs on the bolts. Not sure. I also got the timing chain on and the cover on. The rest will have to wait 'till next week.

Thanks for the manual, jason.

check the manual for torque specs and tightening pattern.

Make sure the threads in the block are clean as well as the threads on the bolts. and lightly lube the threads with motor oil.
