Hard starting when warm
Would someone know whats wrong? Starts fine when cold, then after sitting for an extended period, guessing say hour or more truck cranks fine but difficult to start. When finally does,(little trottle pumping) it was shut down for short period, 20 minutes and then starts right up? Truck runs great otherwise. Cold start injector timing switch and temp switch were changed since a tech said thats the place he,d look first. There was a TSB on injector switch for these trucks prior to 1988 so I didnt mind changing that anyway . I think I read could be an IAC valve . Truck has 55K on it now but I,m thinking age also. An interrmitent problem and I havent taken it to a shop yet. Thanks for any input in advance.

This may not help any but..
I had a problem kinda like that .. mine has a 22re though and .. My truck would start only when it wanted to .My problem ended up being the main relay ,it would short out or something and wouldn't give any juice to the fuel pump .

Yes Black Box something to consider and bipolar thats what it feels like., it Starts when she want to. I,m giving it a little extra revving when stopping and it seemed to help .Dont know why long stops caused it though,.. The two replaced sensors surely couldnt hurt though.. Seems like its not a common problem but I think I remember reading that using a cleaning product through some ports in the plenum can damage the air valve or even the TPS. but I could be wrong on that.
