Hard start

My truck is now hardstarting I think because of fuel back flow into the tank.

There are 2 lines going into the tank for return and vent,,

I have the hose thats connected to the canister hooked to the sending unit and the other one that goes into the motor hooked to the spout that just sticks out of the tank. Is this correct? OR is it the otherway around because I used the longer hose for the farther distant spout.

Also need to get a o2 sensor for my truck. Wich one should I get the universal bosch or the oem because the oem is like 100 on ebay and the universal is only 60. My truck I dont think has california emmisions and does not have dually's.

Check out the FSM (link in my sig) for the fuel line routing. Never use the bosch o2 sensor, go with oem.

Also, what year and model is your truck? $100 is ridiculous for an o2 sensor!

cheapest I found it was amazon export inc. 75 shipped to my door here in canada.

My auto parts store in town wants 130 dollers and thats with my 30% discount. Rockauto wants 49 dollers but then theres 30 dollers shipping UPS and then tax on top of that would be more.

I ordered the one from amazon

I dont care for Bosch, go with the factory recommended. I like to get mine at www.sparkplugs.com.

Pull the gas cap and run air from the line on the fender and see if you can hear it bubble. I have found quite a few trucks with the return lines plugged.
