is it hard to install the typical 4" procomp lift?
im not thinking about doing a 4" suspension, 3" body on my 90. and some 35's. how hard and is there any special tools that i might need to do this. i have about average mechical knowledge and tools. how long should it take to install?? thanks.

If you're not thinking about doing it, then why are you asking the question?
If all goes well, you should be able to have it done in a weekend, provided you have all the parts, the tools, and a case of brews. To my recollection, you shouldn't need any special tools.

I have the ProComp 4" Stage II lift installed on my 92 4Runner IFS.
I am very, very, very happy with it.
Everything fitted perfect, and not even a bolt was missing.
It may take a hole day for two people (one trainned).
I ride on 33x12.5x15 Bf Muds.
I strongly don?t recomend to add more than a 1" Body lift, if so SAS your Rig.
I think adding a 1" body lift, 35?s should fit perfect without rubbing.
