H4 Conversion Product Question

I am looking to get rid of the ridiculous stock headlights...

So, looking at H4 conversions, what should I look for?

What would be my best option?

Theres a thread called "H4 conversion" or something liek that.

Hella E codes, 200mm. Its what most people use, go look for that thread. H4s are way better then stock. well even the lens is amazing.

I have looked around at this a bit... Seems like quite a bit of work that I am not interested in doing to get rid of the "HID glare"

If I were a bit more advanced with lighting, I would go for that though. Looks REALLY nice when done right.

Everyone Else--

Thank you, I will look for the thread.

Thanks for that, I just ordered those.

What are the chances of getting pulled over for having these...?

Yeah, on my way to Tofer's shop I was being followed by a civic with one HID bulb on the ground, and one directly in my rear view. I was pretty livid.

If you're asking about which H4 conversion kit to get to replace the stock sealed beams you basically have three choices...
Hella or Bosch E-codes are the best with Hellas being slightly better... the bosch ones are getting harder to find but are/were available from Canadian Tire.
You're other choice is APC's clear lens version with "diamond faceted reflector". This is the common "e-bay lens" and is not a good option for a basic or normal HID conversion because the reflector surface does a poor job of focusing the light on the road IMO. If you are planning on a projector conversion then your results might be different.

I swapped to the Hella E-codes right after buying my 4Runner. Best money I've spent. Using the GE Nighthawk lightbulbs and the lighting blows away any sealed beams I've ever tried.
