Guide to remove 4runner 1993 front bumper?
Hi, I have a 4runner 1993. I have an ugly dent on my bumper, so probably friday I will be heading down to the junkyard to look for a nice and shiny chrome front bumper for my 1993 4runner. I've been looking on the web if I can find a guide, but I have no luck. Anyone have any guides or pictures that might help me? I may also remove the grill but not sure yet so I need some input with this. thanks

Extremely easy.
4 main large diameter bolts that you can't miss where the bumper mounts attach to the frame rails.
2 small bolts inside the fender wells accessible thru a hole in the plastic fender well liner.
Don't forget to disconnect the turn signal bulbs (twist counter clockwise from back & pull).
Having been a Chevy S10 man before my Toyota days, I really learned to appreciate the simple things like this. Bumper removal, while not extremely difficult, is not nearly as easy on an S10.

Exactly how [N8] described... I just swapped mine out today actually...I took my black one and put on a nice looking chrome one. It took me about 4 hours to do this....but I had to take the chrome off one 4runner, take the black off the second 4runner, and put the black one back on the other 4runner, and had to set the chrome one up with the BL 1" bracket and it didn't help the drill would die every 15 minutes....but i would say it shouldn't take you any more than 30 minutes.

you should see my bumper. I have to jump on it every now and again to get it below the fender. Make sure you dont strip the screws, that would suck ( i did that on one of my frame bumper mounts
