greasing lower balljoint

greasing lower balljoint
I just did the front end of the ISF with some balljoints off ebay that look like the originals and all new poly bushings for the upper and lower control arms.
I installed everything before greasing the balljoints and was wondering how I can grease the lower balljoint with it in there? Can I use a grease gun with a tip that has 90%? or do I have to replace the fitting on the balljoint with an angled one?
I gotta split the lower balljoint to grease it?

The OEM ball joints don't even come with a zerk(grease) fitting. They have a small bolt capping the hole where it would go. Once the bolt is removed, you can screw whatever angle zerk fitting you choose(0°, 45°, 90°) into the hole. Making it easier(and/or possible with whichever type of grease gun tip you're using) to grease the ball joint while it's installed on the vehicle.
