The government stimulated me today
So I went out and got a Cherry Bomb Vortex catback with 2.25" pipe! Sounds pretty good so far. From what I've read - it needs a little time to "break in" whatever that means. It is a very deep sound and does not sound ricey AT ALL.
I am very pleased with it so far - but it doesn't seem to be noticeably loud at higher speeds. I was coming home at 45-55 miles per hour and couldn't hear it much. Not a complaint really, I just thought it would. That just means I get quieter highway rides. Though, if some of what I've read is true, it will be much louder when it is "broken in". BTW: Everyone is always wondering (like I was) when they're looking at upgrading their exhaust - so I'll tell you how much I paid. I got the "single in/single out" Cherry Bomb Vortex muffler and 2.25" pipe bent from the cat-back for $200.00 plus tax. I could probably have gotten it cheaper if I shopped around town - but everyone else looked "shady" and I wanted it done before I went to work today.
I gotta go to work in a sec, but I'll put up some video tonight.
Here's some videos I took. Not the best quality ever but I was kinda anxious to get out and drive around.
UPDATE: It's only the 2nd day and the muffler is already getting louder. I love it - it's not too loud, but enough to sound great.

They get a little bit louder. It depense on the size of your exhaust. One of my truck has 2.5" exhaust with a cherry bomb and i like the sound. One truck that i bought had 3" exhaust with a cherry bomb and its so loud you can't think in side the truck.

It's all on day one. The first video was taken with the camera right next to the exhaust - the second video was taken from the drivers seat facing towards the rear. I'll take one from the way it turns out to sound later.
