got a free pickup

i got a free pickup the other day. its a 87 needs a motor and a flatbed dosnt look that bad it doesnt come with the tires haha those cost money i dont have

im stoked i got a 2 car garage so im gonna have 2 builds going at the same time. it should be fun. this ones gonna be the recovery truck with a sweet flat bed. i have it all drew up. its gonna have boxes on the sides with toyota parts and ford parts (im putting a ford 289 in my other toy.) a box behind the cab with tools. its also going to have a headache rack with lights. its staying stock height with 31 inch mud tires.

sucks it doesn't come with those wheels and tires...

but still, you can't beat free man, even if it has no motor good find!

it actully runs just has a faint rod knock i dont know how long it takes for crank damage to start they parked it as soon as they heard the knock.

Thats a great plan you have for the tires and recovery stuff. I wish I had a free toyota recovery truck project

sorry for chiming in a few years late i got my 86 toyota 2wd for free all i had to do is fix his ford van,he couldn't afford to pay me but said he had an old toyota out back,if i could get it started i could have it. new used battery,fresh gas,bypass the clutch switch wich was bad and it fired right up and i drove it home.
