good 'yota story....

i've got a 92 pickup 22re, 5 speed on 31/9.5 tsl radials and my buddy's got an 86 gmc 3/4 ton pickup 3 speed with a granny gear on 36/11 tsl's....

the other day we went ridin in the woods, i was drivin around the flag pond and kinda made my own little trail on the edge, over a couple of flags. i burried the rear in 2 wheels drive, put it in 4 hi, backed up a little, went forward and got out. my buddy in the gmc (who thinks his truck is the most badass'd truck in the world) says "let me show you how it's done!" follows my tracks and frames out in 2 wheel drive, locks it in 4 and doesn't move ....

we're the only one's out there so i back up to him, we hook the strap up and i pull him out.

the whole time i'm sayin "c'mon man, the yota made it through..." and "i thought your truck was badas....?" stuff like that, messing with him.

his excuse was that my truck is lighter and his was too heavy for that hole....

then his truck stalls and can't get it started back up (he's got a bad starter by the way) so i hook the strap back up and get him PULL STARTED.

it felt good, the 'yota saved the day.

yet another good trail tale about a superior Toyota

I've got a few past times like that; for a while when I use to take my 91 out to the woods a lot, my friends use to call me simply "The Un-Stucker", lol, cause I'd end up pulling people out at least 10 times every time we met in the woods... But it's all in good fun, and I don't mind. Plus, I like to see the look on the face of the owner of a Cummins powered rig when my lil ol Toy snatches his dead-weight right out

Classic, I love it! lol...

Yesterday I was at my former job and a buddy that still works there asked what I was up to... I told him I was just driving around town looking for some deep snow to rip through! (We just got about 10 inches of snow) Then he told me, better be careful, its pretty nasty out there! I said: Pfft, 4 Wheel Drive

He said: Hey, you can still get stuck ya know! Heck, I got stuck in my driveway this morning in my Jeep! (He drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee)

I about lost it.... lmao!
