rustoleum camo series khaki....4-5 coats of it and 6-7 coats of clear coat from rustoleum...cost me like 60 bucks. Sand with palm sander and wipe with acetone....spray, wait, spray...repeat for a while.

Take a look in some of those hot rod magazines. Not the mags with all the super higher end show cars, but more of the Rockabilly "RatRod" culture type zines.
There is a company there that sells all sorts of unique flat paint colors. Dead flat or kind of like satin pearls. Pretty trick stuff... have no idea on cost though.
Would be different to see a 4Runner done that way.
