Good bracket lift mod

One of the first things I realized when I installed my Trailmaster lift on my old '89 4runner was that it failed to take advantage of up travel. I made these blocks below out of 1.5" aluminum square laying around right after installing the lift.

I ran these for 5-6 years and really enjoyed being able to use more of the suspension when crawling and a lot more when hauling butt. With these blocks and BJ spacers, that truck had just shy of 14" of travel. I never tore a CV boot either.

The bracket lift had a lot of it's own problems and I would not get another one. However, if you already have one, might as well make it work for you!
