Try 5.29s with 35s. 4.10s are going to be horrendous. You'll be able to drive, but I'd say you're never getting higher than 3rd gear.

Auto you need 5.29's, manual can get away with 4.88.

Well, maybe. But you'll be set up for high speed/low torque regardless with 4.10's and 35's.

I have 4.30's now with the 3.0. A little better than with the 4.10's and my 35's. Still can't use 5th gear for squat under 75-80mph.

My clutch has taken a serious disliking to the whole situation in general too. Easily slips in 4th or 5th with light throttle, a little better in 3rd, not much.

Sorry, don't know nothin' about tube benders.

Good Luck!

I am running 4.10's with 35"s and to tell you the truth it is not all that bad. 3rd gear for me and I'd be going a little over 40. I can easily get into 5th gear and go 75-80 mph. I am only running these gears because I am broke. Once I get enough money I'll be regearing it.

What...can you not put a locker in the 4.88's? Are they factory or something?

There are blueprints on the internet, as I recall. You may have to buy a book, but it's cheap. Do a google search....you'll see it. I've looked into myself before.

If it is a non-factory gear set then a locker can be installed.
