Gas coming out of exhaust??
So I just recently helped a buddy rebuild his 3.0 and we tried to fire it up today and we got it running. The two problems that we have are it does not want to idle and there is a large amount of gas coming out of the exhaust any and all help would be great.
Thanks

Is there any fuel in the intake and/or manifold as well? If it's just the exhaust, sounds like an injector or injectors are stuck open.

There is very little in the intake manifold. He got the injectors from a local place called Dr. Injector they actually looked new. The intake manifold was cold on the back side when we did have it running which made me think the cold start injector was messed up but with it unplugged it did the same thing.

Where'd you look in the intake manifold to find fuel?
The only way fuel could get in the manifold is through the EVAP canister vacuum lines, the fuel pressure regulator vacuum lines, or the cold start injector. Unless you somehow have some other lines royally misplaced. That would have to be fuel lines, though. In which case, I really don't think the vehicle would run....
Anyway, pull the cold start injector from the plenum with the electrical and fuel still connected. Place a cork or something similar in the plenum (that won't get drawn in) and turn the motor over. The cold start injector should stop injecting once the vehicle is running. Also, check if there's fuel in the vac lines from the EVAP and regulator.

Well walked out to the truck today after it sat over night and most of the day to find gas dripping on the ground. So I popped the hood and there was gas coming straight out of the throttle body so now what?

Well, I was hoping the thread might give you something more to go on. I guess not.
I don't have any pics of the return line. But, it should come off the fuel rail somewhere. I'll have to look at my wife's 3vze and get back later.

I think I got it figured out I just want to change the oil first since it has gas in it and it is not my truck. Good thing we didn't really mess with it too much when we realized we had an issue.
