Fuel pump turns on when jumped.
Hi there. I have a 1994 3VZE Manual 4runner.
I parked it for winter. This was maybe 4 months ago.
Now I come back and it won't start. When I jump the fuel pump at the dignostic plug it will run just fine.
What is going on? I've checked all my fuses, they seem fine.
Thanks ahead of time.

There is a problem in the VAF-COR circuit. Start with the VAF; with key-on, push the flap open with your finger. You should be able to hear the fuel pump run.
If the problem is that it won't start AT ALL, the problem could be on the ignition switch side. Pull the COR http://web.archive.org/web/201003261...96circuito.pdf and run the diagnostics. If it passes, check for STA on the relay socket when you turn the key to start (pulling the starter relay will keep the starter from turning over when you do this). Check for FC the same way.
Don't just drive around with the jumper in. If you get into an accident that breaks a fuel line, you want the pump to shut off immediately.
