OK, so I have a 87 4Runner that has been sitting in the field for a few months. Every week or so I would start it up and let it run a little bit.
Well three weeks ago I started it up and let it run a few minutes. This weekend, I went to go fire it up and get it ready to drive around and shockingly it wouldn't fire. It would crank but no fire. I wasn't getting anything from the fuel pump so I ordered a new one. I did the 9V test with the old fuel pump and it wouldn't do anything, so new one came in and the 9V test worked fine.
I hook the new one up, and turn the key, no fire. It's some electrical issue because I can manually make it pump fuel to the motor, but surprisingly it won't fire even when I manually pump fuel to the motor with direct power.
The only fuse I know to check is the 15 amp by the drivers side kick, and it was good.
With starter fluid, it fires right up.
With the multimeter on crank, the fuel pump is showing .13 volts. I'm not the best with the multimeter but on mV mode it's 13, but on V mode it's .13 volts.
