you're gonna be better off buying a fuel line repair kit from NAPA than trying to source an OE new line. I know for my 88 the lines were not available anymore.

Tube, sub-assy, Fuel 23901-65010
http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...901-65010.html
$73.40 at the above link.

Remember that this is a pressurized line; don't try fixing it with some car-parts hose clamps. Unless a) you really know what you're doing, or b) you like to visit with firemen.

(Islanderoffroad: my book says the part has not changed since 1987)

that link says 6cyl, I assume this is the one I need and for some reason it's $50 more

You are correct; I was doing too many things at once. (Thank YOU for reading the page carefully.)

I can't tell you why it is so steep. If your only problem is a damaged rubber part, you may be able to get a hydraulic shop put a swedged fitting on your existing metal parts (this isn't guaranteed; they have to cut the metal to get the fittings, so the metal will end up slightly shorter.) This is a legitimate high-pressure fitting, so it will work, if it fits. You might price that out.

According to ToyoDIY.com this is the part #. Without seeing a proper diagram I'm not sure if it is the correct one. I did do a search with only the part # and a found a Russian site that I translated that still has a Factory diagram (apparently Toyota has not launched copy right suits in Russia yet) and 23901 is definitely the feed line from the filter to the fuel rail. It's $ 115.40 at Champion Toyotaworld and $114.61 at Toyotapartszone.

Part 23901-35010 (TUBE SUB-ASSY, FUEL) was found on the following models:

Date range Model Frames/Options Found in diagram
08/1983-02/1989 TOYOTA 4RUNNER TRUCK RN5*,6*,7*,VZN6*,LN5*,6* 22-11: FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

08/1988-10/1995 TOYOTA 4RUNNER TRUCK RN10*,110,13*,VZN10*,110,13* 22-11: FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

08/1988-11/2004 TOYOTA HILUX LN200,RN8*,90,125,RZN200,YN8*,9*,LN8*,90 22-11: FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

08/1988-10/1995 TOYOTA 4RUNNER TRUCK RN8*,90,12*,VZN85,9*,VZN120 22-11: FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

02/1992-12/1994 TOYOTA 4RUNNER TRUCK RN101,110,VZN100,110 22-11: FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
