Fuel Injector plug question please...
Hey Guys & Gals,
Putting everything back on after HG replacement. About to install fuel rails & injectors. When removing the plugs from he injectors, the small tab you have to depress to "unlock" the plug from the injector broke free (4 of six). I know there is no pressure or pull on the plug but should I somehow try to fasten the plug to the injector? If so, does anybody have an idea how?
Hope to get vehicle back to running condition this weekend. Thanks again for the support and wondeful threads.
Respectfully,
DJ

one of the clips on my injectors broke off too...they seem to get brittle over the years. i just put a small dab of gasket sealant on the plug to hold it together. I havent had a problem. It seems to be working. Good Luck
