Where is the fuel filter on the 1991 4R? Thanks, Eric

Passenger side frame rail, near the t-case.

i had to remove the t-case support rail to get to the front side of the filter

its a good idea to use line wrenches to get the filter loose,mines a stick shift,didnt have to remove anything else to get the filter off

Got to mine without removing anything, but what a pain in the backside. If it made any difference I sure didn't notice.

I guess I have some peace of mind.

yea the search feature is a little hard to use you have to use words like 3.0 fuel filter or fuel filter 3vze stuff like that

i think you may be right i think thats why most people dont use the search feature cause it not easy to use

I don't think it's that it isn't easy to use. What's easier than typing some words in and having "every" related post come up to you in an organized matter? It's just that some things throw it off, such as the word location. Oh well, a lesson to the other n00b users of the search engine at my cost.
