Fuel Door Stuck...Need Help
Hey everyone,
Got a problem. My wife lost my factory key the other day. I am using the spare which is not an issue except I am currently 100 miles from home, low on gas and just realized this key must have been cut not so great as it won't unlock the fuel door. I'm thinking I am going to need to break the lock. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a long shot, but try pulling the key out a very tiny bit (less than 1/16") as you turn it. If the blank was misaligned when cut it might not work with the shoulder of the key against the lock.
(Or it could have been misaligned in the other direction, but you can't push the key in farther ...)

Might try spraying some lock cleaner with graphite into the cylinder to free it up. I get dirt in mine in the winter to the point where my normal key will not work....after a cleaning, it works again.
