Front wheel wobble

Front wheel wobble
Hello, just joined the website, I have been lurking unregistered for quite some time now, but decided to join.
Anyways.. I was driving down the road a couple days ago and I heard a rattle coming from my side. I rolled down my window and stuck my head out to see if it was the wheel, and sure enough, the front left side wheel was wobbling a little. I figured it was the tie rod end, both sides had play in them. Replaced the tie rod ends today on both sides, aligned it, and was driving and sure enough, wheel was still wobbling. I jacked it up to check to see if there was any play in the bearings, but no play. So I am just asking.. What else could be making the wheel wobble?

Nope, I checked those as well. I also read that sticking a crow bar under the tire and pulling up a few times will check to see if there is play in the ball joints? Not sure if its true but I also tried that. Its very solid.

Jack the front end up an grab the tire and see if it moves. if there is free play your hub may be loose. Could just need to tighten the nuts or maybe the wheel bearings never got repacked with grease and are bad

Check for play in the balljoints (And grease them!!!), check for play in the idler arm and pitman arm and make sure your wheelbearings are in good shape...

man...my freakin '86 has a bad wobble on from abot 45-55mph..i can tell its steering related..because the steering wheel shakesback and forth kinda slowly...its not like a vibration like an out of balance tire or somethin..i'm gonna check my idler arm..my bj's and the pitman arm..see whats up..hopefully it aint anything bad.........

Also after talking to my dad today, he doesn't think its an unbalanced tire. I forgot to mention there is a sound.. Like a chain or something.

Hey so got the front tire balanced.. didn't change a thing. Also greased up the ball joints.. didn't change anything either. Any other ideas?

If it makes a chain like sound I am guessing bearings... or cv joint. Pitman arm / idler arm could give you wobble but i don't believe there would be a chain/metal like sound. Usually just slopped steering.
btw: is the sound constant or just when you turn? etc...

The sound is constant. But gets louder when I hit any bumps with the tire. Also I forgot to mention, I am pretty sure it started after I changed out the roters and calipers around a week ago. It could be the bearings, but there is zero play with I pull on it, and I repacked the bearings really good when I put them back on.
