Front Bushing Missing

I've worked on countless cars over the years, rebuilding motors, tearing apart transmissions, etc, but am just getting my feet wet on the suspension of a 4wd vehicle (it's nothing like the supras, mg's, and nissans i've worked on, that's for sure). Anyways, After taking my truck through a series of mudholes today, it sounded as if a part of the suspension was loose on the driver's side. I crawled in under it and all that i could find was this. NO BUSHING!

It looks to me that there is a bushing missing off of the idler arm (correct me on the part name if i'm wrong). That is the only difference that i could find between each side of the truck, everything else seemed to be tight. Thanks in advance.
