Front breather in IFS

I've seen write-ups on extended breathers in rear diffs, but what about the IFS front diffs (specifically '91 4x4)? Can you use the same parts as the rear diff parts, or is there clearance problems? I'm doing the rear, and want to do the front, but not sure...

This is how I breathed my rear and front dif using the stock breather (just take the cap, spring and rubber stop off.. you can hose clamp this black hose (that i got had home depot for a few bucks). I routed the front up into the engine compartment as high as I could. Neither the rear or front has EVER come lose, I've caught PLENTY of swamp sticks and plants on both lines. Just clamp it on tight and you're set. I had both difs breathed in one hour, didnt have to order any nissan fittings or anything. Only cost like $6 for both difs.

Same parts, but it's a PITA to get in there to tighten it up!
