fitting near thermostat housing?
There is a fitting near the thermostat housing of my 86 runner and broke this fitting. when I went to Napa they told me that I would need to get it from a yard or from toyota. I had broken the hose also and at Napa we couldnt figure out what the hose was, even after calling toyota. But it is going from right next to the thermostat housing to the throttle body right below the throttle position sensor. I cant get the car running without this because it will spew coolant everywhere..

Well in any case if you need get the fitting out you can either replace it or plug it.
You might want to pull the intake manifold to make it easier.
I am not sure but I think it is what heats the AAV and most times it does not work by now any way.
If it is not the AAV it is the one that goes to heat the throttle body best known for failing at the worst of times.
Once it is out you can replace it with the same thing or get a adapter and switch it over to pipe thread..
If you get stuck PM me as I might not see the thread I should have one or two used ones if you can`t find a local one.
