I have the chance to buy some 33x12.50 swampers on black steelies for $250.

My truck right now is stock with 31x10.50 Pro Comp Mud Terrains.

I'm just wondering, if I order 4Crawler 1.5" BJ spacers, IFS diff drop kit, a 3inch longer shackle, and possibly a 1.5" add-a-leaf will I have a chance at clearing these?

I'm ok with some trimming if necessary, all of my inner fender plastic and mudflaps are already removed.

And I'm going to look at the swampers, how do I measure the backspacing on the rims?If they're less that 4" I'm gonna go for it.

whats bs are the rims? that plays a huge role in your going to rub or not.

i ahd the same question just with the toytec 2 inch lift could i fit 33's with 3.75 backspacing... and no rub?

That's why im going to measure the backspace,or have the guy do it for me before I drive all the way over there

Why buy so much stuff?Just get a 3 inch body lift and you'll clear them just right and it makes working on your truck way easier.My avatar is a 3 inch body lift and 33x12.5s

I have a 5 speed and im worried about shifter clearance problems,

And personally hate the look of a body lift

Must be user error or something.I have had my truck lifted with a 3inch body lift for at least 4 months now and haven't noticed any cupping at all on my tires.The truck drives straight as a arrow and is a daily driver.I have an auto in my truck and yes it did take a few extra pieces but a manual should be a breeze.I know you said you dont like the look of a body lift and I personally felt the same until I realized that it was the cheapest and best way to go for me and I absolutely love it Im just saying you should check into it.

I don't know what you're talking about but it isn't body lift. A body lift doesn't affect your alignment. You put a spacer between the body mounts, extend two electrical grounds, loosen your clutch line, extend your shifters and put a coupling spacer on your steering column. No where in there does it affect your alignment.
The only thing that can look funny is if you don't line up your steering column again. Your steering wheel will be crooked, that's it.

I have a 3 in body lift.
It's cheap and easy and will let me run 33's.

I have 33x10.50 TSL's on my 4runner and they don't rub unless I get some big suspension flex (in the front). Under normal driving they won't rub at all. I have no lift (yet) and verrrrrrrrrrry saggy rear springs.

I will be adding in landcruiser coils, BJ spacers, and pro comp shocks all around tomorrow though, now that my shocks finally showed up this week. Should give me way more than enough clearance (not that I really need much at all anyways). And I will finally get a chance to get a good alignment in on my truck. Haven't had any excuse or reason do really do it yet, been putting it off until I screw with the suspension cause I'd just have to redo the whole thing then anyways.


A body lift would be the easiest, and in no way, shape, or form will it affect your alignment at all.

i didnt mean alignment.. my bad but on the trucks you see the frame behind the valance.. horrible look i think and you see the entire frame all the way back..

i honestly dont know how alignment came out

I don't think mine looks bad with a BL. Gap guards, sliders, and bumpers hide a lot. I also got to raise my gas tank for free, and the CoG is lower than a suspension lift. I'll be doing a BudBuilt t-case x-member and a custom front skid, then I'll be set.

Not without either cutting the crap outa your inner fenders or a body lift.

bj spacers let the wheel bottom out in the exact same spot as stock, so they dont increase clearance..

You'll most likely rub on the inner pinch weld up front.

Fore-warning tho. TSL's (especially used) ride like a dream! really! .. The one month i had SX's on my rig (32's) this summer.. I was beyond happy to be gone with them!

33x10.50 km2's much better tire. Not to mention save on gas mileage and your sanity

There is no way in hell this guy is gonna be able to run those tires... not without a body lift or bracket lift.. Or a crap load of cutting.

I still rub my 33's with 4.5" of lift..

Yea they are cheap but i had a body lift on my Tacoma and just not my cup of tea i think they suck. crank your torsion bars and do a shackle in the rear they will fit just fine
