first drive with the new header

Some of you may know that I was saving for a while to get a header from LCE. I got it ordered and it arrived yesterday at about 1pm. Had it installed in a couple of hours but didn't get a chance to take it for a decent run until this morning. There is a noticable smoothness to acceleration and the rate at which I can get up to speed. I'm thinking that the header is a great way to compliment the Supra VMAF conversion.

The only down side is that I can hear all these new little engine noises and now know that I need to adjust my valves, I can hear them ticking.

I'll run it on the highway today and post up some seat of the pants results and will keep track of my milage to see if it increases.

All in all LCE makes a damn good product.

Mine is 4 into 1 also. By higher rpm do you mean above 4000? I like to shift at about 3500 and so far I've noticed an increase in "go" betweeen 2800 and 3500.

Yeah I think the valves are getting done this weekend depending on the weather.

No.... not yet. I had to replace the muffler a while back and went with a cheap (170$ at the local shop) OEM type replacement. I'm also still running the factory cat.
