First 4runner, tons of fun!

New to the forum. Have been browsing for a while though. Now that my runner it lookin sweet, I thought that I would look for some other ideas.

I will be adding to this write up because I have already done some other stuff. I am having issue with down sizing the images

1. Grill guard and lights
2. custom back bumper with D ring & shackles
3. 33 inch tires bf at's
4. hi-lift jack
5. cage w/ thule ski rack
6. pro comp shocks and steering stabilizer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. cutting fenders to clear 35"

Are those the stock bumper mounts? They are most definately not up to the job of holding on to a bumper meant for recovery. Those are drilled into sheet metal of the body and thus and tug on the bumper will rip big holes in the body.

Recovery bumpers need to be attached to the frame like this:

Braces like this:

And I have a grill guard like this one. Got it from a junk yard off a 1st gen, and mine is a 2nd gen..... seems like i might have some probs adjustin to fit it right. :/

Mine doesnt have the side parts that cover the head lights like that though.... wish it did and would like to make something and put it on it for that or find a really cheap set i can weld or bolt on.
