First 22re head gasket repair

Looks like #2 got coolant as I suspected. This head gasket looks weird to me like it partially blocked the water jackets. An there was not an obvious fail spot at least to my in trained eye.

Any input would be appreciated

funny you say that.. 3 out of 4 had cracks between valves on the head. I could see them without getting machine work done. now im searching around for a new head with stock guts to replace this port polished head with 268 cam and over sized valves. but I have a good cam, rocker arms, and valves with springs I am selling now.

Do they only sell to shops? I have been emailing back an fourth with Engnbldr Ted on prices an was leaning that way. 482 for a stock head loaded w/o rocker assembly which I have I would just need to resurface my rocker arms (only 9k miles old)

Yes only to shops and my opologies the head comes minus the rocker arms as well but I don't know the quality of Ted head but the ones from EPWI have worked on several occasions for me

engnbldr uses pro-topline head casting I am not familiar with any aftermarket heads, nut have heard good things about them. I don't know any shop owners, only a few that would probably charge to order the parts. I have heard that epwi is great quality though an that is what lce sells there costumers. I don't know for a fact just what I have heard.
