Finishing up a clutch fan bracket install cant figure out where this wire goes
I am finishing up a clutch fan bracket replacement on my truck. Everything has gone very smoothly and the rockauto aisin bracket lines up perfectly. I ran across this single wire probably for a sensor, and cannot determine where it goes. Any help is greatly appreciated

Sure looks like the AC. A single wire, which ends up right on top of the compressor.
The other end is in the bundle that goes fore/aft right underneath the battery, with the connector just aft of the battery.

Thanks for the help. It looks like the wire is coming from right on top of the compressor (hard to tell but that seems like the direction) with this loose end being the one that goes near the battery. I should have waited and tracked down were it goes before reassembling everything else. I havent had ac in the truck for 4 years , so not too worried about it, but still will track it down and find the right spot.
Aft means behind the battery right?

Arrgh, Matey!
Aft is in the direction of the rear bumper. (Fore is in the direction of the front bumper.) "Behind" can be confusing; it depends on where you are standing, and the direction you are looking.
I was glad that we didn't have to use "Port" and "Starboard," instead just saying "Driver's side" and "Passenger Side." Then I found out we had plenty of members from the U.K. ....
