Finally got my truck one color!
I finished the od base coat and tiger stripes last night. Here are some pics:
Before:
After with camper shell modified to fit around roll bar:
I also got around to wiring up my back up lights and fogs in the front. And you may notice I bent the right side of the brushguard back up.
This is the place where I flipped. The road does a y and I tried to drift around the top part. The only thing that stopped me is the ditch in front of my truck. May not look deep, but it's about 3 feet down.
Then there's this wide 4wheeler trail that I figured I would try to get into, but as you can see it was a no-go.

My question is does it still look good without the topper.. Like does the zebra stripes go the rest of the way on the bed without the topper or would it look funny stock?

Whew! Finally back! Now for the questions....
Post #2: yep, figured I'd go ahead and get it over with!
#3: Definitely need to, but first need to find a torch and welder...
#4: I wanted to see what it would look like all tiger striped, but it's comming off today (sucks the gas up quick!) It also makes the truck slower uphill
#5: not sure yet, but I did take some caution when painting as not to end the stripes where the point was on the shell. I guess I'll see today.
#6: camo is a color, right???
#7: SWEET! you got your truck back together. I was very satisfied with my work when my cab was finally swapped out and I could drive my baby again!
#8: Haven't seen the commercial, and my paintjob isn't permanent. I can sand it down anytime I want to, because as soon as I get some cash and my 4x4 fenders, I am probably going to paint it gloss black like my truck was. Sure I'll never get it back to the factory shine, but I can get close!
