Fender glue?
Are the front fenders on our trucks glued on? I tried to pull the passenger side off and the dang thing wouldn't come off no matter how hard I tried. I'm trying to get my snorkle done but can't get started with the fender in the way.
Thanks in advance.

if they've never been removed, then yes they are "glued" not sure what it is but it defiantly acts like glue
just use a flat screwdriver and work the seam under the hood, and she'll come off

I know it's not rust since the rig is about 99.9% rust free. Must be some kind of sealant....... dang it.
Yeah I'm making my own. I relocated the air box to the passenger side and am going to run PVC inside the fender and then make a penetraion near the windshield out of the top of the fender. I'll probably put an aftermarket snorkle head on it if I can find one I like.
I'll try and do a write up on it but most of the time I get so involved in working on the rig that I forget to snap pictures.

Thanks, I was typing when you posted this. I know they've never been off so that explains the difficulty.

Its fiber reinforced too, so it can be a PITA to remove. The easiest way to get it off, is heat it up. We use propane torches at work to heat it up slow without damaging the paint, but you can use a hair dryer or heat gun. They work about the same.
What ever you do, DONT pry it up with a screw driver without heating it. You WILL damage and distort your fender.
