Faulty igniter?
Okay so i have 91 pickup 22re and I have no idea what its doing. When I'm in low gears and taking off the engine cuts out and gives me a code so I went to check the codes and at first I got two one for the O2 sensor and the other for the igniter. A lot of people say its most likely the TPS so I just bought one and I'm installing it tomorrow but I was just wondering if a faulty igniter would cause it to do something like that? Also somebody else filled up for me the other day and they put 85 octane in it instead of 91 so I was wondering if that could potentially cause it to run like that? I ran a bottle of octane booster through it and it didn't change anything much. So if somebody could help that'd be great! Thanks!

What sayeth the Good Book? http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...26diagnosi.pdf
You have a code for an open O2 sensor heater circuit, which I understand is due to a wire melted against the exhaust. You have a code for a missing signal from the igniter [could it be caused by a faulty igniter? Duh!] And you had a code for a missing speed sensor signal.
None of these have anything to do with the TPS (just who are these "lot of people"?), or fuel octane.
