Factory ac plug outlet
i have a 1988 SR5 V6. looks to be fully loaded minus the inclinometer. anyways my parents have had this thing since brand new. now they have moved on to a newer truck. i pretty much took over to make it my off road vehicle only. anyways i was cleaning it up to make it look like new again and found what looks to be a ac plug in right next to where you would pop the gas door. i hit it with a tester and shows it has power on one side and ground on the other. i grabbed a plug to see if it fits, i didnt plug it in all the way but it does fit.
anyone know what this is used for? i looked at the wires behind it and i doubt it can run anything strong.

yea. mine had power windows from the factory and the relay went out. so i looked at the diagram to figure out where the relay put the 12volts and put 12 volts there. now they work perfectly.
