Extreme engine noise
Yotatechers! First time post
I bought a 94 rv6 runner about a month ago and in the last few days there has been a lot of noise coming from the engine bay, hard for me to pinpoint but it sounds more like cooling system noise, not exhaust and not directly from the motor, however the noise increases with revs. the noise went back to normal after a day, and then about an hour ago i heard a strange ticking, then it sounded like something opened or moved somewhere under the hood and the noise started again.
Has anyone ever had this problem? I've been looking for threads on the matter but haven't been able to find any info.
Any help would be great! Cheers

Nah from what i've read i dont think its the waterpump, its a smooth loud noise. The noise is always present even when the trucks healthy, just not nearly this loud.

auto or manual? could be flex plate or throwout bearing,or exhaust leak, not really enough info to be much help.
you can use a screwdriver or something to put between different places on the engine and your ear to pin point the source of the noise, like a mechanics stethoscope.
