Exhaust sound
First i took off my stock muffler and put on a two camber flowmaster i think a 20, and it was way to loud. It sounded like i had no exhaust on at all. So I just put on a flowmaster 70 the big one. And it was supposed to be a lot quieter but it is still to loud. But the thing is I bought the muffler with the dual out. And I don't have it piped back to the back because the muffler shop said it was going to be $200 to run the pipes from the muffler to both sides behind the rear tires. And right now I don't got that.
The question I got is will it be a lot quieter after I get the pipes ran to the back or will it sound the same? Right now the exaust ends out the muffler.

$200 or just a dual tail section? holy cow, my entire 2.25" exhaust from header back to tail pipe cost me $150 not including the cost of the muffler.
I believe it will quiet it down some, it depends on how long the tail sections are in relation to where the muffler is mounted.
FYI Flowmasters are not that quiet to begin with. I believe magnaflows are quieter.
My Thrush turbo is actually quite loud when I get one it and it also drones inside the cab pretty good.

We i first finished my 4 link rear suspension my exhaust dumper under the bed at the rear diff. The Flowmaster created a loud rumble noise that was just to loud for me to handle. I redid the exhaust after the first weeked of wheelin. Now my exhaust exits out the passenger side and it is soooooooooooo much quiter from the drivers seat. If you have tail pipes brought out the back you will be much happier

that's where my old muffler was, relocated to under the bed when I redid the exhaust, helped some, but still drones terrible. but hey what you want for a decent sounding $30 muffler hhahaha. I hoping maybe a high flow cat will help out some. Wish I had the cash last week as the magnaflow cats were on sale for like $50 at a local A&A autoparts store.

And xxextreme I figured when I spent $135.00 for a muffler it would be better on the sound.
