I have a 94 DLX with a 3.0 and I want to run a exhaust that goes through a High Flow Cat and then "Y's" into two Flowmaster Super 40's and then out under the bumper with dual tips. My question is what size tubing, cat, ect. should i use?

I was hoping to keep it all one size and i've been thinking either 2.25 or 2.5. Any Opinions?

Single cat w/dual mufflers is a waste of money. Get a Super 40 2½" in w/dual outs (usually 2¼", iirc), and have the shop fab you a cross-pipe.

Now, if you went full duals, that's another story

When I had my manifolds off the heads, it looked a lot like you could flip the right (passenger side) one over and use it on the driver's... anyone tried this for s**** and giggles? Might be an easy way to do full dual exhaust if it works. I should have tried it while everything was apart...

Couple of points:

- I wouldn't bother with a "hi-flow" cat. OEM flows plenty.
- I wouldn't go any larger diameter that OEM.
Larger diameter = less velocity.
Less velocity does not = something better.
Less velocity is not a good thing.

You're 3.0 doesn't flow any volume to speak of.
Hell, a gnat fart pass more "gas" than these engines

I was going with too seperate Flowmasters because I thought It might sound a little more aggressive but would it sound better? What is the stock size exhaust?

2 1/8" is approx the stock pipe size for the 3vze. Step it to 2.25" for ease of availability. I wouldnt go duels. Just go with 2.25" cat, muffler then end it with a boom tube or somthing. I put a 3" one on my truck for fun and it actually sounded alot deeper.
