exaust leak, need gasket
thanks for the help on fuel injector harness, all is well now, however, im working on major exaust leak now. dealing with leak at manifold gasket, it has a tri-y header, dont know brand, perhaps downey or thorley, any suggestions on trying to find a gasket, useing stock manifold gasket now, leaking like seive

assuming you've had the header off?
what sort of condition's the flange in? meaning, is it flat?
you might try copper anti-seize if you can find it -- the paste stuff. I've seen it at the NAPA stores here.
the guy who runs the machine/race shop I use says they don't even use gaskets; just the copper anti-seize.

yeah id say use some type of leak protectant like what Yodta said but it would be better if you could take your truck to an exhaust shop maybe and then they may be able to tell you the header type.. and on from there you can order the gasket that you need
