Engine siezed
OKay, so I was on the freeway on saturday and I think I threw a rod. Anyhow, it siezed the engine which is a 3VZE from a 95 SR5 4x4 4Runner and I had a few questions. I have done engine swaps before, but wondering how hard is it for me to swap a longblock in to my truck? Roughly how long should it take, day, weekend, neverending pain in the ass? Is there anyone in the San Diego area that would be able to help me out if I paid in say beer and pizza. Finally where is a good place to get a longblock? Oh I lied, one more thing does anyone know how much places usually charge to do this swap? I use this car as my daily and if it ever sees towing it will be a jetski. I am not looking to spend a ton of money. Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been doing searches have found some motors and found some good info. I am not sure what the total cost of doing a swap is coming to for folks who spend say 2K on the motor, I have found cheaper, but we all know cheaper isn't always better. Anyone know a place in SAn Diego of close to that can do this swap for a reasonable price. I was quoted something like 2K just in labor and that is a bit pricey for me, especially right now.
