Engine question

I am replacing the camshaft in my 1993 Toyota pickup 2.4l. My question is does this motor have lifters, because I was going to replace them as well if it does.

No lifters.

It does have rocker arms that wear into the cam.

Depending on what they look like, refinishing of the rocker arm wear pads, or replacement of the complete rocker arm assembly might be in order.

Its a big risk to attempt cam replacement on this engine without head gasket replacement as well. But some do succeed.
