engine bogging

I have a 95' 4runner with the 3.0 v6 engine and i replaced my alternator this weekend, now it is bogging out spudering and when i drive it, it will not go over 10-12 mph but my rpm gauge shows its getting the power, went back and checked all my hoses and connections and they seem fine, someone help please

Manual, Auto, Was it accidently left in 4L?
Check all your fuses and maybe swap the EFI relay with the starter relay.

Did you check battery voltage?
They can cause a lot of mischief if there not fully charged.
Rebuilt or new alternator?
Is it working properly?
Did you check to see if your grounds are clean and tight?
Re-trace your steps might find something awry.
