engine bog when temp rises
Hi all, i have a 94 toyota pickup 4x4 22re with an automatic transmission. i recently cleaned the engine bay down with purple power and now i have a problem. i can drive the truck for about 3 to 4 mins and then the problem happens. the truck starts to bog like its not getting gas. when the truck warms up to operating temperature the problem goes away. its really hard to explain but when i unplug the tps the problems go away. i have changed the time switch, the temp sensor, tps, fuel filter, cleaned intake, new plugs, wires, and rotor/cap. today i just replaced the coil thinking it was the problem but not. only code is the sub oxygen sensor which is totally gone. the last thing i am thinking is the fuel pump but really hard to get to. truck idles fine and the idle changes when jumping the jumper terminals. please help me fix these problems. thanks

You may have damaged the TPS when you cleaned the engine.
Check the TPS for proper operation: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri...#TPSAdjustment
Do so especially since you said you replaced it.

i did replace the sensor 3 times as i had some laying around the house. i did adjust it correctly by placing a .024 feeler gauge in and turned it till it lost continuity. then i checked. it runs better when it is unpluged and there is a difference in idle when it is unpluged
