Engine Blown!!!! What to do???

My engine blew yesterday, head gasket went out then coolant was coming out of every orface of the exhaust system. I am just going to do an engine swap but i dont know what engine i want in there, what are some of my options? I really like to go to a diesel engine. I dont want to change the transmission driveshafts and other things like that so i know my options are limited but any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!!!

You don't want to try just fixing the head gasket first? Also, we need to know what your rig is and what engine it has before we can make reccomendations.

What do you have in there now? if 22re, 22-ret might be your best bet for not screwing around too much with drive shafts and such. Although diesel would be sweet you would have to convert a few things.

Where do you live? That may affect legality of converting to diesel.

Not an easy conversion from a 22RE. DAMHIK. Worth it if you have time and/or bux.
