ok, i was washing my truck yesturday and i used that GUNK engine degreaser, and i forgot to cover ALL of the electrical components and i washed it off and started it to let it dry so on and so forth. Well, i started it this morning, and what the?????? the battery check and parking brake dummy light was on? and i took it for a drive to town and nothing happend, the lights are still on???? SO, my question to you is, what do i do now? wash it more thurogh, or let it dry in the HOT belizean sun? WHAT? please help me

Alternator or wiring to such.

i checked everthing out, al the connectors are clean, and connected, could some water have found it's self onto some bare wire not visible without moving things?

Just fixed this problem today, the idiot lights mean that the system is not charging. I had to replace my alt to fix the issue.

Alt isnt charging. I doubt the wash did it, just coiencedence.
